Take a tour of this Arizona resort home: Every room is overflowing with charm

Home to the Grand Canyon and the mile-wide Colorado River, the state of Arizona is one of the most interesting places to visit in the United States. It's also one of the best places to retire. Cal-Am Homes has built a park model in the community of Valle de Oro (Golden Valley) that's bursting with character and Southwestern charm.
This park model has a glassy interior that simply glitters in the Arizona sun, not to mention the modern amenities found throughout. It's almost like living in a glass suncatcher, light reflecting off of every surface, casting all the colors of the rainbow on walls, floors and furniture. The lot also includes a wall section for privacy, an Arizona room, and a mature fruit tree that provides fresh citrus-y goodness.

Oh, we forgot to mention – it's a wine lover's paradise!
The kitchen, which is clearly the heart of the home, is decorated with wine bottles, a glass tile backsplash and metallic grape vines infused into chandeliers and hanging baskets. The previous owners of this park model clearly loved a good Cabernet.
White cabinets and kitchen appliances are a blank canvas for reflected light, but they also give the park model a sophisticated modern look.
True words of wisdom.
The dining area has the most beautiful chandelier.
The living room is warm and welcoming, with deep purple hues mimicking the color of grapes. The level of detail that is seen in the décor shows how above and beyond the decorators went.
The marble walls in the bathroom may not be real, but they look darn expensive. They're convincing enough that your guests will wonder how you could afford such a luxurious shower. Don't worry – you don't have to tell them the marble is fake.
If you think the rest of the house had character, you haven't seen anything until you've seen the bedroom. The décor is a world apart from the wine-lover's paradise of the other rooms. Bold orange and coral jump out at you to create a bright, energetic bedroom that lights up as soon as you enter it.
It even has a built-in jewelry case!
On hotter evenings when the sun is still scorching, cool off in the Arizona room with a nice glass of chardonnay. This semi-enclosed room is typical of Arizona park models, but we think this one is just a little more special than the rest.
