Take it back with this 1957 Airfloat: The old-school interior is pure vintage fun

Somewhere in Churchinford, Somerset is a rare vintage treasure waiting to be discovered in the beautiful English countryside. It is hard not to be pleased when you feast your eyes on this iconic American caravan. Nestled in the rural farmland of the United Kingdom, this will be one Airbnb experience that shouldn't be missed.
After importing the vintage trailer from the United States a few years back, Airbnb host, Clare, decided the caravan needed a little love in order to bring it back to its prime. This 1957 Airfloat was an Airstream competitor, but its unique shape and layout are all its own. Of course, everything has been brought up to date ensuring that guests can enjoy the vintage style without forfeiting modern amenities.

The most eye-catching aspect of this caravan is the bold use of black and red. The vibrant colors paired with the original wood paneling makes the space feel more like a 1950s diner than a trailer existing in 2016.
Most trailers feature booth style seating but rarely do you see ultra-mod booths like this in trailer renovations.
The Airfloat features these adorable round windows throughout the trailer. Their design recalls the streamline moderne style and references rapid industrialization and ship design.
Rather than using standard wallpaper, the hosts got creative and plastered old-school comic book pages on the walls instead.
Behind the green sliding door is a spacious shower stall. The toilet and a second full-size shower are located in a separate bathroom outside of the trailer.
Channel your inner Minnie Mouse in these perfectly polka-dotted sheets. You can choose to close the divider on the master bedroom for added privacy or leave it open concept.
