Peer inside this 1961 Shasta Airflyte to see its classic-looking dining area

During the same year that the United States officially got involved with World War II, a man named Robert Gray built the first ever Shasta trailer. Originally designed to be homes for active military members, Shasta trailers evolved over the years and became a favorite for travelers everywhere. "Shasta was, and remains, an important player in the ultimate American Dream," the website reads.
Still today, decades and decades after Gray built the first trailer, Shasta is still going strong. Their travel trailers and RVs are top-of-the-line, boasting sleek interiors and a number of features. And while many people seek the newest design, there are others who prefer the old-school look. Below, check out this 1961 Shasta Airflyte.

At night, the couch folds down and acts as a bed. So if you're not camping or the temperatures are a bit too extreme, you can take refuge inside.
