Enter a tiny model overflowing with rustic details: The kitchen within is quite a sight

Do you like to keep things rustic? Wish you could live in a real-life Lincoln Log cabin? Then this tiny home from Rich’s Portable Cabins will be right up your alley, with its green roof and wood-textured siding. Even if you don’t normally go the rustic route, you’ll want to see the amenities this model has to offer.
Rich's Portable Cabins, based in North Powder, Oregon, specializes in small-sized log cabins that can be taken on the road to their new locations, all while keeping comfort a priority. The model presented here focuses on the kitchen, which takes center stage.

The model here, the Floyd, is one of three Front Kitchen designs that have the same concept in mind: You don't have to sacrifice good home-made cooking in a tiny house.
The key feature of this home’s interior is its spacious kitchen. It has the most counter space of all this builder’s models. The kitchen also has plenty of cabinets for storage. There is even enough space to add a pantry, should the desire arise. The window design in the kitchen is also customizable with the builder.
The model home comes with a 30-inch gas or electric range and full-sized refrigerator -- not often found in tiny homes. The microwave is vented to the outside and sits above the range. Plus, there’s room for a 24-inch full-sized dishwasher.
In terms of layout, the floor plan is not broken up by a counter between the kitchen and living area. It’s perfect for people who love an open concept feel. The Floyd and Calgary models both boast a lower level with the kitchen open to the living area. The bathroom sits off to the left, connected to a small bedroom. The Watson model has a large enclosed porch, kitchen, living area and bathroom on the lower level.
The Front Kitchen designs can be customized with lofted options, which add a wide view of the whole living area from above, adding visual expansiveness in a space that might otherwise feel a bit cramped.
Another feature is the wide, full-wall closet in the upstairs loft. Plus, there is a wide closet in the downstairs bedroom. This model is a perfect choice for those who like a ton of storage in the bedroom areas, as well as in the kitchen.

The models also come with a ceiling fan in the living area just off the kitchen.
