Have you ever seen an RV so extravagant that it has its own pool and private deck and is surrounded by miles of fine wine? Currently, travelers, wine lovers and RV enthusiasts can experience it for themselves by staying a night in this restored 1974 Airstream located in California's wine country. The owners, Nicole and Herve, have listed their picturesque property on Airbnb and boast that not even neighbors can bother you on this private 6-acre hillside. The Airstream sits on a beautifully landscaped 2.5-acre lot surrounded by nothing but the natural landscape of Temecula Valley.
While you may feel secluded as you relax on the large private deck, the location is not far at all from other local attractions. The property is walking distance away from seven local wineries and a five-minute drive to restaurants. It is also nearby the historic Old Town Temecula, whose architecture displays an authentic Western aesthetic in the heart of Southern California. If you can make it during springtime, you can witness the vibrant colors and lovely aromas of Temecula Valley's Balloon & Wine Festival.
It's hard to get lost on your way to the property due to the adorably designed signage and wayfinding.
When you do arrive, you will be blown away by the 360-degree views of mountain ranges, native palms and cacti such as this Hercules Aloe.
Even more impressive is the expansive 800-square-foot deck you cross on your way to the front door of your Airstream vacation home.
When you enter the RV, you will be greeted by a cozy, updated living room. The warm, earthy colors of the interior reference the hues of the California landscape that extend beyond the aluminum walls.
The hosts know exactly what their guests need and will have the dining table set upon arrival. As soon as you unload your bags, you can get right to pouring yourself a glass of red wine made at the local vineyards.
The hosts exclaim, "You will feel like you're in your own private jet!" due to the brand-new upholstery, wood flooring and kitchen counters that allow the rooms to flow together both visually and spatially.
The bedroom provides two twin beds, each with their own window, allowing guests to wake up to amazing views before even going outside.
Although the bathroom is compact, surprisingly it has just enough room for a tub.
Or you can always take a nice, hot rinse in the outdoor shower before jumping in the pool.
The outdoor deck is fully equipped with a variety of seating, breakfast and cocktail bars and a refrigerator for easy access. Don't forget to enjoy the stunning views over an al fresco dinner and glass of wine.
If you're lucky, you may even spot a hot air balloon.
