Tour this Airstream with the fanciest interior design

The Metro Hotel in Petaluma, Calif., has two new additions to its normal accommodation offerings. It recently added two Airstream trailers to the list of possible rooms to rent. One is a Bambi, and the second has been named the "Honeymoon Suite." As one of only 50 such trailers produced by Airstream, the Suite has a contemporary feel to the interior, quite different from Airstream's beginnings.
According to Airstream, the company began with an idea from its founder Wally Byam. In 1929 he attached a tent to a Model-T chassis, but discovered that it wasn't great in the rain. He upgraded to a teardrop-shaped shelter with a camp stove and ice chest, and that was the beginning of Airstream trailers. The company seeks to turn out a quality product, and many vintage trailers are still on the roads today. Airstream states, "They are intended as a lifetime investment in happiness."

HomeAway states that the Honeymoon Suite is a 28-foot (8.5-meter) trailer and is placed in a beautifully landscaped garden area. The outdoor lights color the entire area a beautiful shade of purple at night.
The interior reflects a contemporary design. Clean lines and contemporary colors and lighting are reflected throughout the trailer. One of two HDTVs is in the main cabin.
The trailer includes a full kitchen. The purple theme from the outdoor lights is repeated here in the bold carpeting and matching details, like the throw pillows.
The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the second HDTV is in this bedroom.
A full bath is also included, with the sleek quality of an airplane.

Complimentary linens and towels are included in every stay, along with a hair dryer. Even the bathroom shines with that bright purple glow.
A rain shower finishes the bathroom.
