1970s Airstream is turned into a green room for musicians

This Airstream has been transformed into a musician's greenroom for the artists of the Austin, Texas, area. Baldridge Architects was commissioned by Stubbs Barbeque and Waller Creek Amphitheater to get creative and create a "greenroom" for the artists playing at Stubbs to kick back and warm up before performing.
Inside, you're introduced to a funky, sleek feel with beautiful wood walls that bend with the Airstream's unique curves. There's a big white couch perfect for lounging and tuning up instruments, and the minimal furniture elsewhere helps keep the space wide open for acoustics. Grab your guitar and take a tour through this funky airstream renovation.

Outside this airstream boasts the classic curves, and shiny facade that makes you fall in love with these trailers.
But inside, this Airstream was gutted and stripped so they could install these incredible wood walls. This isn't just regular paneling - the wood is curved perfectly to every crooked corner of this airstream for a wonderful and mesmerizing finish.
Inside there's a beautifully modern mini-fridge stocked with drinks, and a long shiny bar for creating cocktails or magic drinking potions before the show. We love how that big glass door lets in tons of natural light too because it really opens up this cramped space.
Look at those incredible curved wood walls. We love how the old rounded edge windows bring back some of that vintage flare against that long tv bar and that big white leather couch. From here you also get a great look at how those glass doors really open this space up to the outside.
This is really the perfect place to kick back and get creative. There's lots of space to sprawl out, and the clean modern design means you can make what you want of the space. Any artist would be lucky to jam out in this green room.
