Look inside this cozy park model – it's hard to believe how many people sleep in it

Along the 121-mile stretch of shoreline in central Minnesota, a small town has become a quiet vacation spot for those who want to get away from it all. Crosslake, Minn., is home to around 2,477 housing units, 60% of which are seasonal use only. This lakeside community is right on the edge of Little Pine Lake, one of the many chains in the Whitefish Chain of Lakes.
One of the park models available for purchase is this lovely colonial-style unit from Breckenridge Park Models in Wilderness Park. The blue shutters and superb architecture are eye-catching enough, but the unit becomes even more special when you find out it can sleep up to eight people. You may be wondering how that's possible in a mere 400 square feet (37 square meters). Let us show you.

The park model's living room has not one, but two sleeper sofas. Assuming they're all double, that's four sleeping spots right there. There's also a sleek leather desk chair and armchair.
Should you need to pull yourself away from relaxation and water sports, there's a small desk area where you can set up your laptop.
The kitchen and dining area come with everything you need to serve up a good meal, and the amount of cupboard space is enough to make anyone swoon. After all, you're going to need all the dishes you can get your hands on for a weekend vacation with seven other people.
Two more sleeping spots in the upstairs loft bring the count to six. The loft comes decked out with three fans for summer nights where cold Minnesota weather seems like a distant memory.
One last sleeping spot can be found in the master bedroom. A queen bed comfortable enough for two will have you snug as a bug in a rug with your bunkmate. There are even wall-mounted side tables to avoid stubbed toes and free up some leg room.
The price of this park model is $99,500 and includes a garage, patio awning and a 2-seat golf cart. It's a great place to spend the weekend with your friends on one of Minnesota's best lakes.
