Step inside a hybrid park model for a look at a perfect sanctuary – the kitchen is a stunner

Looking for a combination of a rustic and modern style in a park model? This Austin - 588 model combines the best of both worlds with its wooden and grey exterior, electric fireplace and its characteristic combination of textured wood and clean, white walls. It’s sold through Recreational Resort Cottages and Cabins, located in Rockwall, Texas.
The floor plan is notable for its two porch spaces on opposite ends of the home. Though the floor plan doesn’t reflect it, the kitchen comes with an optional island that makes it easy for serving guests or preparing food. The rest of the model is a standard park model setup, with the living room on the right, leading into a very open kitchen space. Then a bathroom sits to the left of that, and a bedroom is to the left of everything.

The exterior really showcases this home’s combination of rustic and modern. The textured wood contrasts with the grey siding to give this home a unique look.
The kitchen space shows the optional island. Grey stone countertops and a white sink contrast with textured wood for a mix of the modern and rustic.
The photo below shows how well the island leads into the living space for easy dining and serving. The wood trim, wood floor, wood ceiling and white walls come together to once again combine the modern and rustic. The same countertop style is on the electric fireplace to the right, giving this home a unified feel in terms of design.
Nothing combines the modern and rustic like an electric fireplace. It has the feel of a classic mantel space without the hassle of wood and smoke.
Barn doors in the bedroom help with the rustic feel. Yet the textured wood doors, trim and floor contrast with the white walls in this space, too.
