Camp in style with this old-school trailer: The bold interior is a treat

Not all camping has to be about roughin' it and getting dirty. In fact, you don't have to forfeit indoor toilets and warm showers at all in order to enjoy the great outdoors. Lazy Sky Boutique Retreat does camping a little differently than most, and is out to teach us a thing or two about camping in style. Decorated in the Hollywood Regency style, this vintage trailer puts the 'glam' in 'glamping.'
Appropriately named the Regency Trailer, this luxurious hotel alternative is available to rent through Airbnb. The Regency trailer brings the classic Hollywood aesthetic to the Yucca Valley desert and proves that you can end a day of hiking in glitz and glamour. The Regency style was developed in Hollywood's golden era and was popular among California's elite up until the 1950s. Characterized by bold colors, gold accents, and mirrored surfaces, the style was extravagant, yet modern.

The interior features dark teal walls and gold details throughout. The Regency style often has a balanced composition of bold patterns and flat color. Often flashy and ornate, the style symbolized affluence and the good life.
The Regency trailer can comfortably accommodate four people. At night, the living room doubles as a sleeping area for two. The over-stuffed sectional sofa and lacquered coffee table are very typical of the time period.
In the back bedroom, you will find two lush twin beds. The additional striped pattern on the bedding adds to the eclectic yet classic look.
While the trailer itself features a cooler for your drinks and snacks, the main kitchen is separate and shared by other guests staying at the retreat. With this kitchen, you will not be limited to hot dogs for dinner.
The bathroom is also shared with other guests, but is much more spacious than the bathroom that would have existed in the original trailer.
Why shower indoors when you can shower under the stars in this gorgeous outdoor shower?
This might be the fancier version of camping, but the reasons for coming and beautiful views remain the same.
