See how one family turned their 1950s trailer into a bright, fun kids' paradise

Have you ruled out the possibility of an RV lifestyle simply because you have children? Perhaps you've thought that it would be nearly impossible for a family of six to live harmoniously in a trailer together. Where will everyone sleep? How will you store everyone's belongings or have enough room at the dinner table?
This family is out to prove that life on the road is not impossible and definitely not off limits to those with children. In fact, they make it seem effortless and desirable. Joy and her husband Donny, owners of Wildflowers Photography, took on the project of renovating their 1950 Spartanette trailer to construct the ideal sleeping situation for their four kids. Check out the results below; they are absolutely stunning.
To brighten up the interior, the couple painted the original birch walls a soft white. We love the ombre paint job on the cabinets and the warm shades of coral.
Just because a family downsizes doesn't mean they have to eliminate the personal objects that make their space unique and special.
Look at the beautiful colors of that floral wallpaper. It pulls together all of the bold textures and surfaces throughout the Spartanette perfectly.
What was originally the master bedroom has been transformed into a bunkhouse for the kids. It is their own personal haven for them to imagine, play and rest comfortably.
Donny custom-built the bunk beds, fitting the curves of the trailer snugly. They are the right height so that their kids can walk under them and have a place to store all of their toys and games.
The master bed was placed in the living room so that it also serves as a large, fluffy couch big enough to fit the whole family.
