See how this 1984 Scotty camper became shabby-chic after years of just plain shabby

It is hard to find the ideal vintage trailer that is ready to go without needing any additional work. While some are in better condition than others, most require months and even years before they are move-in ready. At least, that is what this blog owner realized after scouring through Craigslist for what seemed like an eternity.
After purchasing the 1984 Scotty, a lot of work needed to be done. The owner described the trailer as "the usual cream, brown and somewhat golden color of that year. Pretty bland, ok, ugly." Despite the rough start, after a year of work, the Scotty became bright and fresh like "a little beach cottage on wheels."

...and when she did, it looked like a completely different place. By incorporating blues, pastels, and some decorative throw pillows, the beach theme was well underway.
This Scotty might look small on the outside, but has everything you need to enjoy a glamping vacation. We love how well organized this kitchenette is and how the dinnerware goes perfectly with the color scheme of the trailer.
